During the 18 hour curfew, protesters and armed police clash during riots that killed 3 people today and injured many as protests against the rule of King Gyanedra in Kathmandu. The King of Nepal has imposed a strict curfew for Thursday in order to stop a large protest planned. Nepal's opposition groups are calling for a restoration of democracy from the royalist regime and vow to continue their fight for a new constitution.
