KATHMANDU, NEPAL-JANUARY 24: Nepali men chant as water cannons are shot at them during a demonstration protesting the rule of King Gyanedra in Kathmandu January 24, 2006. Tensions continue in the capitol city as the year anniversary of the King's rule comes in 8 days. Nepal's opposition groups are calling for a restoration of democracy from the royalist regime and vow to continue their protests which were allowed today in certain limited areas. Over 200 were arrested on Saturday during violent clashes. King Gyanedra's royalist government ordered a curfew on Friday, cutting phone lines and internet and arresting anti-government activists while a ban on protests continues angering Human Rights organizations.
